About the Artist:
Tucker Nichols is a well-known Bay Area artist whose work spans painting, drawing, sculpture, books, and mail art. Rooted in close observation and a light touch, his work finds humor and warmth in the everyday. He has exhibited at SFMOMA, the Denver Art Museum, the Asian Art Museum, and the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, and his drawings have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and McSweeney's. His books include Flowers for Things I Don't Know How to Say (Chronicle Books, 2024) and Mostly Everything: The Art of Tucker Nichols (McSweeney's, 2025).
