Originally from Mexico City, architect Paulina Sevilla has collaborated with different architecture studios such as Tatiana Bilbao Estudio, where she had a creative role, in exploring the link between art and architecture.
To celebrate the exhibition Diego Rivera's America, the Museum Store invited Sevilla to interpret the universe of the Mexican muralist.
For this project, Sevilla illustrated the spaces inhabited by the couple in these houses, including the important objects that characterize the place and celebrate Mexican culture. She also created detailed drawings of both Mexico City and San Francisco, two of the most iconic cities in Rivera's life.
