Product Description

Designed by Lisa Larson

Created from original designs painted by Swedish ceramicist Lisa Larson during a six-month stay in California in 1967, these expressive birds capture the spirit of the Flower Power era. Inspired by the vibrant colors, oversized patterns, and folk-art traditions she encountered in Mexico and the American West Coast, Larson translated the optimism and creative freedom of the late 1960s into a joyful flock of hand-painted birds.

Nearly forgotten in her studio for decades, the designs were rediscovered and brought into production by Design House Stockholm. Crafted from solid beech wood and finished with water-based paint, each bird celebrates Larson’s playful artistic style and the enduring message of peace, individuality, and creativity.

Materials: Solid beech, water-based paint.
