De Forest Country Dog Gentlemen 1000-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Product Description

Roy De Forest (1930–2007) created quirky, fantastical art often depicting dogs, with Country Dog Gentlemen exemplifying his distinctive style. In the painting, at least nine wild-eyed dogs stare at the viewer, appearing to seek food or pets. The work is segmented by a large tree and rich swathes of color. Dozens of colorful dots add even more embellishment and texture.

De Forest believed that dogs are people, too, and that art should be happy and fun. The playfulness of Country Dog Gentlemen reflects these values, creating a vision of joyful dogs with their tongues out.
