Ayca Kilicoglu X SFMOMA Henri Move Mug: Cobalt Blue
Product Description
An SFMOMA Exclusive!
Ayca Kilicoglu has always found much inspiration in Henri Matisse, and for this exclusive collection she channeled his love of bold color, organic form, and the joy of pattern into a series of richly layered textile designs. Each piece overflows with hand-drawn botanicals, birds, and abstract shapes — a lush visual world that feels both playful and deeply considered. Available exclusively through SFMOMA, this collection brings Kilicoglu’s distinctive voice into dialogue with one of art history’s great colorists.
Ayca is a San Francisco based designer, illustrator, painter, and educator. She was born and raised in Turkey where she studied public administration and worked in the field of economics. She moved to the US in 2010 and studied graphic design at the UC Berkeley Extension and received a master’s degree from
Academy of Art University.
