Handcrafted and hand-finished out of solid maple, this cutting and serving board was made to fit perfectly into the contemporary home. Each board is carefully selected, cut, smoothed, and finished with mineral oil and beeswax before inlaying the raw brass logo - a long process that is done completely by hand.
The beautiful wood grain makes this board the ideal serving surface for cheeses or hors d'oeuvres while the sturdy composition of the maplewood makes it ideal as a surface to cut bread or prepare dinner ingredients. Because no wood piece is the same, every board will have its own unique wood grain and patterns.
As a nod to the outdoors-loving lifestyle in the San Francisco Bay Area where the Studio Inko woodshop is located, each board features a classic cutting board hole, easy to loop around a finger and bring to a picnic at the beach or on a hike in the woods. The hole can be used to hang your board on a nail in your kitchen when not in use. Over time, the brass logo inlay will develop a lovely patina along with the wood board surface, a reminder of all the wonderful meals prepared and enjoyed with family and friends.
