Bay Area Structures: Sutro Tower

Designed by Laurence Srinivasan

San Francisco architect Laurence Srinivasan laser-cuts birch plywood to form his scale models of Bay Area landmarks. San Francisco's Sutro Tower, built in 1972 to broadcast radio and TV signals, is the tallest structure in the region. Easy to assemble and makes a great conversation starter.
