No matter what seasonal exhibition was on display at the time, we had a family ritual which was to go check in with Claude before we explored any of the other favorite haunts in that amazing location. We had Claude portrait drawings and paintings from our entire family all over our house and some of these pieces went out into the world in one of our exhibitions. Claude meant so much to all of us who visited and the Academy will never be quite the same without him!
