Barbara de Jounge

Barbara de Jounge
A former educator and art teacher, de Jounge continually experiments with textiles and tradition-breaking design. A minimal aesthetic with a playful quality are found in the mediums she explores. Her process of slashing, punching and otherwise distressing wool before felting and dying is in the vanguard of fashion design. Her styles are created to be playful, sophisticated, and interesting in design, while also extraordinarily comfortable. She currently lives and works in Laguna Beach.
